Booking Terms & Conditions Updated: November 15, 2024
1. Booking Agreement - These terms and conditions (the "Agreement") outline the booking terms and conditions for "The World Team Stableford Challenge" event, hereinafter referred to interchangeably as the "Event" or “WTSC” . This Event is Organized by Golftripz Pte Ltd & Fore Management Group, hereinafter referred to as the "Event Organizers"), a company registered in Thailand. The Event Organizers and the participant, collectively referred to as the "Parties," enter into this Agreement upon the participant's booking of the Event. It is essential for the participant to read and understand this Agreement before booking.
2. Event Details - The Event is scheduled to take place from October 7 to 11, 2025. The final payment for the Event is due on July 1, 2025.
3. Payment Schedule - A minimum deposit of THB 10,000 per participant, out of the total Event Package Price is required at the time of booking. The remaining balance is due and payable on or before July 1, 2025.
4. Cancellations - The deposit THB 10,000 per person which is paid at the time of booking the slot is refundable until April 1, 2025. If the participant decides to cancel the participation after April 1, 2025 then the deposit of THB 10,000 will be non refundable. The total Event Package Price payment should be made by July 1, 2025. If the participant decides to cancel between 1 July - 7 Aug, 50% of package price will be charged as cancellation fee. If the participant decides to cancel after 7 Aug, 100% of package price will be charged as cancellation fee. No shows cannot be refunded.
5. Event Cancellation - The WTSC is designed based on a minimum of 80 playing participants. Slots will be blocked on payment of the deposit which will be on first come first served basis. If the minimum no of playing participants is not reached, the Event Organizers reserve the right to cancel the WTSC.
Pursuant to the point above, the final decision to hold the WTSC will be taken on 1 July 2025 after considering the total confirmed participation. If the decision is to cancel the WTSC, then all payments received towards the tournament package will be eligible for a 100% refund. However, Event Organizers will not be liable for any expenses such as flights, visa charges, insurance or any other costs incurred directly or indirectly due to the cancellation of the event and strictly no refund requests for these will be accepted. This applies regardless of reason for cancellation.
While this point relates to cancellation due to insufficient participation, refunds for cancellations made by registered participants will be subject to the package refund/cancellation policy, which is stated in the cancellation terms.
For any cancellations/changes in dates due to pandemic, force majeure or reasons which are beyond the control of Event Organizers, refunds if any will be in accordance with the policy of the providers of the various components of the package.
6. Travel Insurance - The Event Organizers strongly recommend that all participants acquire suitable travel insurance for the duration of the Event to cover any unforeseen circumstances.
7. Pricing - Prices are based on a per-person basis unless otherwise stated in the booking form. In the event of supplier unavailability, tax increases, or other unforeseen circumstances, The Organizers reserve the right to re-cost and amend packages, ensuring that any changes are of a similar standard to the original package inclusions.
8. Limit of Liability - The Event Organizers do not accept liability for any injury, damage, loss, delay, additional expenses, or inconvenience caused directly or indirectly by events beyond their control. Details of the Event may change due to circumstances outside of their control, and suitable alternatives will be sought wherever possible.
9. Official Handicaps - For participants in competitive aspects of the Event, access to official handicaps endorsed by their national golf association is required. The Event Organizers may verify and approve handicaps as needed.
10. Visas & Passports - Participants are responsible for ensuring they possess valid travel documents, including passports and necessary visas, for entry into any country they are visiting during the Event.
11. Participant Behavior & Responsibilities - Participants must conduct themselves responsibly and in accordance with local laws and Event guidelines. Inappropriate behavior may result in booking cancellation without a refund. The Event Organizers shall not be liable in any manner for consequences, legal or otherwise, resulting from inappropriate behavior by the Participant .
12. Prizes & Trophies - The Event will comprise the following main competitions Trophies for 1st, 2nd & 3rd Place Teams. In addition to this, there will be multiple individual novelty competitions in each Round Like Closest to Pin Any Individual will be eligible to win only One Novelty Prize in any given round.
13. Media Promotion - Participants consent to the use of their images and video footage for media promotion and publicity unless otherwise stated in writing.
14. Indemnity Disclaimer - Participants agree to participate in the Event at their own risk. The Event Organizers and suppliers accept no liability for any injury, property loss, or damage incurred during the Event.
15. Special Requirements - Participants must inform the Event Organizers in advance of any special needs or requirements. Organizers shall do their best to make suitable arrangements
16. Host's Duty of Care - While the Event Organizers' designated hosts are committed to ensuring participants' safety during official activities, they do not assume responsibility for independent, unsupervised activities or third-party operators.
17. Reselling - Reselling of Event packages without prior written consent is not permitted.
18. Tournament Committee - All decisions made by the tournament committee are deemed to be full and final. No correspondence or disputes will be entered into regarding these decisions, including matters related to golf rulings, event rules, or any other aspect of the tournament. By participating in 'The World Team Stableford Challenge,' each participant agrees to accept and abide by the tournament committee's rulings and decisions without reservation or appeal.
19. Force Majeure - In the event of unforeseeable circumstances or Force Majeure Events, the Event Organizers will make reasonable efforts to mitigate the impact on the Event. Participants agree to cooperate in finding suitable alternatives or solutions in such situations. This Agreement constitutes the entire understanding between the Parties regarding the Event and supersedes any prior agreements or understandings.
By booking the Event, participants acknowledge their acceptance of these terms and conditions.
